At Gold Investor Research, we spend our time digging through precious metals dealers so you don't have to guess who's worth your phone number.

Brickell Gold Group is a Woodland Hills, California based firm that markets itself as a full service option for gold and silver IRAs, direct bullion purchases, and rollovers from existing retirement accounts.

This review walks through what the company offers, what it doesn't publish, and what to check before you request a quote.

Key Points

  • Brickell Gold Group focuses on gold and silver IRA rollovers, direct bullion sales, and vault storage, but it does not publish pricing, fees, or minimum investment amounts on its website.
  • The company is privately held and relatively new to the review landscape, so third party rating profiles that are common for larger competitors are not yet established.

Who Is Brickell Gold Group

Brickell Gold Group operates out of an office at 6303 Owensmouth Ave, 10th Floor, in Woodland Hills.

The company describes its leadership team as former executives from larger precious metals firms, and it says its staff has more than 50 years of combined experience in financial markets.

None of the individual Senior Partners are named on the site, and the firm's founding date is not listed anywhere we could find.

That's not automatically a red flag. Plenty of legitimate dealers start small and build a track record over time.

But it does mean you're relying more on a phone conversation and less on a long public paper trail when you evaluate them.

The business is structured around a simple pitch: gold and silver protect savings from inflation, market swings, and a weaker dollar, and Brickell will help you move retirement funds into physical metal without much hassle.

That pitch is the same one you'll hear from nearly every company in this space.

What varies from firm to firm is execution, fee transparency, and how a company treats you after you've already wired money.

Brickell also runs a separate content page it calls "Fort Knox Cover Up," which touches on long running speculation about whether the United States gold reserve at Fort Knox has actually been audited in full.

It's a common talking point in precious metals marketing, and it's worth knowing that the page lives on a different domain than the main site.

That's a small technical detail, but it tells you the company is using outside content and lead generation partners rather than building every page in house.

Neither approach is disqualifying on its own.

Services and Products

Brickell Gold Group offers three main paths for clients.

ServiceWhat It Covers
Precious Metals IRARollovers from a 401(k), TSP, 403(b), pension plan, or existing Traditional, Roth, SEP, or SIMPLE IRA into a self directed IRA holding physical gold or silver.
Direct PurchaseBuying gold or silver coins and bars for home delivery, outside of a retirement account.
Buyback ProgramBrickell says it offers a "highest buyback guarantee" when clients want to sell metal back, though the specific pricing formula for buybacks is not published.

On the product side, the site lists gold coins and bars at 99.5% purity or higher, including the American Gold Eagle and Gold Buffalo, along with silver coins and bars at 99.9% purity or higher, such as the American Silver Eagle.

Storage is offered through third party depositories that Brickell describes as fully insured with 24/7 monitoring, though it does not name which depository or depositories it partners with.

That detail matters more than it sounds like it should, because IRS rules for IRA held metals require an approved custodian and depository, and knowing exactly who holds your gold is basic due diligence.

The Promotional Offer

Brickell currently advertises a promotion for new clients: "Over $10,000 in Free Silver," described elsewhere on the site as 10% back on the funds a client chooses to protect with gold and silver.

Promotions like this are common across the gold IRA industry and they aren't inherently deceptive.

But the free silver is typically built into the spread between what you pay for metal and its melt value, not handed out as a pure bonus.

Ask directly how the promotion is funded and get the terms in writing before you commit any account balance. A rep should be able to explain this in one phone call.

If they can't, that's worth noting.

What We Could Not Verify

This is where the review gets more cautious. We looked for a Better Business Bureau profile, Trustpilot page, and Business Consumer Alliance listing specifically for Brickell Gold Group and did not find an established public record under that name at the time of writing.

Larger, longer running competitors in this space, firms like Birch Gold Group or Augusta Precious Metals, tend to have years of accumulated BBB accreditation history, hundreds of Trustpilot reviews, and documented complaint resolution records.

Brickell doesn't yet have that footprint, at least not one we could locate through standard searches.

Fees are the other gap. The website doesn't list account setup fees, annual storage fees, or a minimum investment threshold anywhere in its public pages. Every gold IRA involves custodian fees, storage fees, and often a markup over spot price on the metal itself.

Industry wide, setup fees for a self directed precious metals IRA typically run somewhere between $50 and $300, and annual storage plus custodian fees often land between $150 and $300 a year, though these numbers vary by custodian and by how much metal you're storing.

A company that discloses its own numbers on its site before you ever pick up the phone is giving you more to work with than one that requires a sales call first.

Brickell falls into the second category, which just means you'll need to ask directly and get the answer in writing rather than assuming industry averages apply to them.

Weighing the Positives Against the Gaps

To be fair, the site is professionally built, the contact information is consistent across pages, and the service descriptions read like a company that understands the mechanics of IRA rollovers. The address in Woodland Hills is a real commercial location, not a PO box.

None of that guarantees a good outcome, but it's more than some fly by night operations offer.

Still, a handful of things should give a cautious investor pause. No named executives. No published fee schedule. No third party rating history to cross check against. No disclosed depository partner. Individually, each of these is explainable.

Together, they add up to a company that's asking for trust before it has earned an independent track record.

  • Ask for the full fee schedule in writing before opening an account, including setup, annual, and storage costs.
  • Request the name of the custodian and depository the company actually uses.
  • Get the terms of any promotional offer in writing, including how it affects your purchase price.
  • Check for updated BBB, BCA, and Trustpilot listings closer to the date you plan to invest, since these can change.

Conclusion

Brickell Gold Group offers a standard menu of gold IRA and bullion services, but it hasn't yet built the public fee transparency or third party review history that would let us rate it with confidence.

Treat any conversation with their sales team as the start of your research, not the end of it.
